I went here with my bf and this was a great experience! We asked our waiter to order everything on the gold menu and it had us full! The meat quality was amazing as well as the service. You order on an I pad on your table for your items which was convenient. You must also try their sushi it was such great quality! They were also on TOP of changing your grill without you having to ask. The interior was also so well decorated. Keep in mind you're on a time limit, I believe maybe over an hour and a half (I could be wrong we weren't aware of it). I got here right when opening so I was surprised since after we left we didn't see a line outside, Nonetheless, I would def come back here again!

When I heard that this place does all you can eat for Wagyu, I had to try it out. The first time with my uncle and cousins and the second time by myself on a weekday (They only allow that from Monday to Thursday). I do love the variety of Wagyu that I made sure to eat every variation to get my diamond money's worth and I never regret paying for that level of menu. The fact that my first impression was being presented a wooden box with an assortment of Wagyu is awesome presentation there. i can't believe that an all you can eat Wagyu joint makes the perfect truffle fries, crispy and just the right amount of flavor. The service is very excellent, I appreciate how attentive the waiters were with me and making sure that I order enough food before the time limit goes out and I have to pay the bill. I was surprised that they actually adhere to the strict time limit that most restaurant staff don't follow, but given that it's A5 wagyu, I don't blame them. This is how restaurant staff should do their service like Chubby Cattle. The inside of the restaurant is very trendy and state of the art, combining the old tradition and modern technology of Japan. It feels like I am in Japan. Overall, I absolutely enjoy my two times at this Chubby Cattle and will come to this place more often just to get more of the delicious luxury meats they have to offer. What an genius idea this is.

Came before rush hour and our server, Gloria, was very attentive to our order and the staff was very proactive about replacing our grill, delivering our food, etc. Meat portions were very good for 2. Each order was small enough to let us try everything on the meat menu!

We walked in pretty close to their last call but we still sat us down. Our friend was visiting out of the country and we wanted to take him somewhere he usually wont get in Europe, And Chubby cattle definitely did not disappoint The service was great. We were helped by Jun, he was attentive with our orders, and also recommended other ways to enjoy the meats. Grace and Vivian would also stop by our table here and then. The staff in this place in general were very attentive The food was great, the quality of meat is something you won't usually just get anywhere else. Seafood was also good The cucumber salad was also one of our faves Grilled was also often change. This place is a must. Good food Good ambiance Good service. I'm

Went here back in March, and also my first time in Monterey Park - hopefully my memory serves me well. Thought this was a really interesting place! I was surprised to learn that there's at least two locations within 4.6 miles of each other. It was about an hour and fifteen minute wait. If you want a quick summary of their menu/pricing, basically there's three AYCE options: low, mid, and high (American Wagyu, Australian Wagyu, and Japanese Wagyu, respectively). The menu might seem a little overwhelming at first, but there are things that you can order once and then the rest is AYCE. Get all the things that you can order once, though there was one category where you had to choose 1 of 4. That will be up to you. They bring out your first set of meats in this wooden chest that also has dry ice in it. All the meats were very rich. There was just so much going on! I managed to find parking in their underground parking structure, but YMMV. Luckily there seems to be a decent amount of street parking if the structure is full. Overall it's very decadent, I've now had both Mikiya (the sister restaurant that does wagyu Shabu Shabu hotpot) and Chubby Cattle (Waygu Japanese BBQ). I was definitely "Wagyu'd out" by the end of the meal, and I've pretty much not really cared to have wagyu since then. Although now that I'm approaching three months since my last visit, maybe I am craving it again, we'll see!

This is a really good Japanese BBQ spot with quality meats and a large variety of sides. I liked all the meats, but my favorite was marinated Skirt Steak. They have a bunch of sides like wagyu sandwiches, truffle fries (I would skip out on these), nigiri, and wagyu bimbimbap. The wagyu bimbimbap was the best side, it's really flavorful and the fat on the wagyu gives the rice a creamy texture. They also have these cute little ice creams for dessert by Neat Ice Cream. I tried the Cookies and Cream and the Ube flavor. Both were excellent, but I prefer the Ube. Service is also really great! They change out the grill often, and they come by frequently to ask if we want to order anything. It's kind of a small place, but you should have no trouble getting a spot if you get there when they open. Also, I appreciate that their fans work well, we surprisingly didn't smell like bbq after we ate.

The first round of food was absolutely amazing. The quality was top-notch, with every dish bursting with flavor and freshness. Unfortunately, the subsequent rounds didn't quite match up to the initial standard. The meats, particularly the beef tongue, lacked the same level of quality we enjoyed in the beginning. Despite this minor setback, the overall experience was still very positive. The ice cream included with the meal was a delightful surprise and truly delicious. It's worth noting that dining at Chubby Cattle is on the more expensive side, but given the quality of the first round and the excellent service from Jimmy, it felt like a worthwhile treat. On top of all of that it wasn't too loud in the restaurant like how it is in some other BBQ restaurants!

Service is fast and waiters come often. They even changed our grill and we didn't even need to ask. Food is high quality and there is a huge variety. There is also plenty of parking underground. 10/10 would come again.
